This year marks a historic milestone for Decatur as we proudly host the HBCU Softball Championship April 25-28, 2025 at Wilson Morgan Park. Dillard University, Oakwood University, Rust College, Stillman College, Talladega College and Voorhees University are set to compete for the Championship title in Decatur Alabama for the first time. This prestigious event will bring together top Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) to compete in an electrifying tournament, showcasing elite talent and celebrating the rich history of these institutions. It’s an incredible opportunity for our city to welcome athletes and fans while highlighting Decatur as a top-tier destination for collegiate sports.
