Tell us your story!
“I’m the oldest of five sisters, a mom to an amazing 11-year-old daughter, a caretaker for my mom, and a proud dog mom to Izzy. I’ve spent over 16 years in the non-profit sector and hold degrees in Business Administration and Law. Although I don’t live in Decatur yet, I’ve been drawn to the opportunity to serve this incredible community as the CEO/President of United Way of Morgan County, and I plan to relocate to North Alabama in 2025.”
Tell me about your position at United Way.
“As the CEO/President of United Way of Morgan County, I work to lead our efforts in addressing critical community needs like education, health, and financial stability. Even though I don’t live in Decatur yet, I’ve already prioritized building relationships with local partners and participating in events like the Day of Caring, which highlights the power of teamwork and giving back. Supporting impactful programs, such as the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which provides books to children and fosters a love of reading, has been a wonderful way to connect with this community.
