Chase Grisham is an expert in his field and is well known in Decatur and surrounding areas for his entrepreneurial spirit and energy for positive change.

“What I love most about Decatur is the ability to plug in and involve yourself. Everyone is so welcoming, and every person I encounter genuinely wants to see me succeed. There is an opportunity to succeed here because the community cares so much.”

There are several organizations perfect for young professionals looking to get plugged into the community. The Decatur Jaycees and YP Decatur are two groups that are great for getting positively involved in what’s happening in Decatur while giving back at the same time. These organizations are just two examples of how networking and cultivating relationships with other area young professionals lead to positive momentum and continued growth in Decatur and throughout the North Alabama region.

Chase believes that he’s positively where he’s supposed to be

and attributes much of his success to the caring spirit of the community.

“I was born in Huntsville and moved to Decatur to live at The Alabama Baptist Children’s Home when I was 10. I was terrified and completely alone, but my experience there was so positive and made me the man I am today. I have never wanted to call any other place home because Decatur was so welcoming and caring, in my opinion. Everyone wants to be better, and I believe that we all make each other better because our community works so hard. Decatur is full of hard-working individuals, and that spirit is contagious. I don’t know where I would be had it not been for the children’s home in Decatur.”
